Beautiful Ghanaian- South African songstress,Adina has announced her grand VGMA dreams for the year 2018.
The young beauty who was voted the Best Female Vocalist as well as the winner of the Afro-pop song of the year during the 2017 VGMAs insists that her target is to go beyond that by clinging onto the ultimate award in this year’s edition of Ghana’s premiere music Awards.
According to the ‘Too Late’ hit maker, she has what it takes to edge-out all other competitors for the keenly-competitive category to be crowned as artiste of the year at this year’s awards.
Speaking on Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra, the singer said: “Personally, as an artiste, I really don’t want it to end on female vocalist, best high life song or Afro-pop song of the year or even most popular song of the year. I look to win the artiste of the year award.” She added that she is working hard to make sure that the public recognize her works and to subsequently vote for her to reach her aim.
“Definitely it is my aim to work hard to be able to convince the public that I deserve to win artiste of the year so I am working towards that,” she said.
Having won two awards at the 2017 VGMAs, Adina is now looking forward to winning the biggest prize at this year’s event. The VGMA’s opened its doors for nominations for this year’s edition of the awards earlier this month and would close its doors on 31st January.
