Following the unfortunate demise of the young talented Ghanaian Dancehall songstress, Ebony reigns, there have been several news making the rounds in the Ghanaian showbiz world with the latest being a revelation by Ricky Nana Agyemang (Bullet), the manager of the artiste who says Akon had made attempts of signing Ebony before her untimely demise.
Bullet who was speaking in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Accra-based Okay Fm’s Ekwansodwodwo on Monday afternoon revealed that the Konvict Music C.E.O had made calls to sign the dancehall artiste who had barely become a household name in Ghana before her demise on February 8.
This however comes soon after it was revealed that the C.E.O of Ghana’s fastest growing entertainment brand, Zylofon Media was almost through with plans to sign the ‘Kupe’ singer in what has been described as a move to ‘free’ her.
Were she alive, Ebony would have had two juicy contracts to choose from to broaden her scope as an artiste and to make some more cash. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
