Known popularly as Danny Beatz, Daniel Owusu Agyapong is a Ghanaian music producer and recording artiste.
Danny who has had the passion for music right from childhood started singing at a tender age of 5 and fell completely in love with music when he clocked twelve. As a young chap beaming with unending love for music, Danny Beats was fond of sneaking to studios during his Junior High School days where he also had much interest in beat boxing as well (using his mouth and beating tables to create beats). Through his beat boxing, he realised he could extend his skills to the computer and produce more professional beats and that gave rise to Danny Beats The Producer. Through his hard work and determination, he gained national recognition through the Production of Guru’s Nkwadaa Nkwadaa which featured the then Dobble. There after he recorded artists such Dobble, Pope Skinny, Gasmilla, Tutulapato, Iwan, AK Songstress, Mzbel and many others.
What most people do not however know about Danny Beats is that he writes and composes his own songs. Been brought up listening to Reggae and Highlife under the watch of his father at home, Danny discovered his ability to write and compose his own songs.
Danny’s first major label was Paradise Entertainment under which he released his first official single ”Yensa Mbom” which featured Ticles. Also under the label, he produced AK Songstress’ hit single ‘Funky Fresh’..
He later released “Nyame Nsa Ano” (Explaining the goodness of God in his life) and he featured Guru on it.
Danny Beatz was nominated as the Best Sound Engineer at the 2015 Bass Award.
With the original song making waves all over, a remix of “Yensa Mbom” featuring a Belgium based Ghanaian AfroBeat artist Bizzy Salifu, titled “Kpalogo Dance” was duly born. Danny followed this up with a collaboration with Bizzy Salifu and produced the song “Me Like The Way”.
Currently, the multi-talented Ghanaian musician/ producer is signed onto African Prince Records as Well as Rufftown Records. His first single released his new label (Rufftown) was ‘Mede Kuku’ which featured the late Ebony Reigns and he also produced the ‘Kupe’ hitmaker’s ‘Date ur Fada and Me di Wo Dwa’.

Danny Beatz is a former student of Awudome 4 Junior High School (J.H.S), Modern College of Science and Technology (MOTESCO, SHS & College), Noel Technology Institute and finally studied Telecommunication Engineering in school.
