‘One Corner’ hit-maker, Patapaa was unable to maintain his composure after losing out to Fancy Gadam in the ‘Popular Song of the Year’ category at the 2018 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Prior to the big announcement, the auditorium kept screaming Patapaa’s name as the deserving winner for that award.
The Swedru-based artiste who received much attention for his big blue suit walked angrily out of the Accra International Conference Centre where the event was held, when Fancy Gadam was announced the winner.
During a short interview outside the auditorium, Patapaa alleged that the organizers of the award had taken some ‘Stupid’ money from some people in order to give them some other person’s awards. He also asked his fans to watch out for his response soon.
Prior to the event, it was reported that Patapaa expressed his optimism about winning an award for the ‘Most Popular Song of The Year’ category at this year’s VGMAs.
