Testing for the deadly HIV virus has been one of the most dreaded decisions in the life of many considering that one could test positive and subsequently lose one’s joy and confidence.
Multiple award-winning movie actress Lydia Forson has revealed that she was filled with anxiety when she took the bold step to test for HIV.
The Keteke actress, Speaking on New Day on TV3 on Friday November 1, where she was the co-host of the farmers’ day edition, revealed that she was anxious when she first wanted to go for the HIV test. She however indicated her anxiety was for no reason.
“As for me, I was afraid when testing for HIV, even though it was for no reason”. The 2017 Best AFRIFF actress revealed.
Ghana joined the world to mark this year’s edition of World Aids Day to create awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection, and mourning those who have died of the disease.
Coupled with the World AIDS Day Celebration, Ghana also celebrated the 33rd National Farmers Day, a day commemorated each year on the First Friday of December to honor our gallant farmers and fishers.
