World-renowned rapper and Businessman Jay-Z has joined the host of celebrities who have categorized as ‘unfair’ the 2-year prison term served rapper, Meek Mill.
The ‘forever young’ rapper has branded Meek Mill’s jail sentence as ‘unjust and heavy handed’ and indicated that he would always stand by Meek.
Jay Z’s comments came after Star actor and comedian, Kevin Hart took to instagram to express his bewilderment and that he was ‘praying’ for his close pal.
Kevin, posting a picture of himself and Meek Mill on instagram wrote: ‘Praying for my brother @meekmill right now. God sometimes puts the toughest battles on his strongest soldiers. I’m here for you man!!!
‘My brother for life…Always here for you man!!! This storm will pass…Stay strong & keep your head up.’
He wrote on Instagram: ‘Was wit u then & WE STILL WIT U NOW!!! This too shall pass. You got this!!!
‘God places the heaviest loads on the strongest backs. We got real love for u out here KING.’
Robert Rihmeek Williams Known affectionately as Meek Mill was sentenced to a minimum of 24 months in prison on Monday, November 6 after violating terms of his probation from his drug and weapon case back in 2009.
Meek mill who was released on probation in his 2009 case was earlier in March this year arrested for a fight at St. Louis airport and again in August for reckless driving in New York City, which in effect broke the conditions of his probation and left the judge with no other option but to get him straight behind bars for years. His jail term could range between two to four years.
