Media Houses Should Pay Celebrities For Interviews – Ecow Smith-Asante

Celebrated Actor, Ecow Smith-Asante has made a call on all media houses to pay celebrities anytime they are called for interviews.

In his opinion, celebrities appear on media platforms to enrich the entity’s content and, therefore, should be remunerated for the appearances.

The ‘Devil In The Detail’ actor stressed that when celebrities need to promote their works, media houses charge them huge but are unwilling to pay celebrities for interviews.

Mr Smith-Asante who was speaking to Lexis Bill on Joy Fm’s Behind The Fame on Monday said that unless there is a barter agreement, media houses should pay for such interviews.

“The moment you invite a celebrity to your station, you should [pay them],” he told Lexis Bills.
