Prodigal, a member of ace music trio VVIP has implored fans of dancehall artiste, Shatta wale to go down on their knees and pray for him.
During the recently held ‘S’ Concert, Shatta Wale called some top Ghanaian musicians ‘Broke’ and that their ‘brokeness’ warranted their inability to buy cars and houses during and after their peak periods.
“People envy me because of the truth. You see VVIP, Tic Tac, Lord Kenya, Obrafour them. Have you ever heard they bought house, cars…?,” He quizzed.
Prodigal while reacting to this on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz Fm on Monday morning said that he believes some faceless people are using Shatta Wale to cause such outbursts in the industry.
He stressed that Shatta Wale is suffering from a ‘mental problem, bipolar or a spiritual illness.’
The musician further posited that, despite playing key roles in Shatta Wale’s career, he will never hate but love him.
“They need to pray for Shatta Wale. They are using him to get to other people. There is no way on earth that I will hate him. I respect him, I don’t like his ways now. He is moving in the wrong direction. He is a talented musician and breadwinner…,” he said.
Prodigal also called on the industry players to unite and urged various event organizers to respect other musicians’ brand.
