Multiple award-winning Ghanaian dancehall crooner, Stonebwoy has urged his fellow Voltarians to be proud of whom they are.
According to the ‘Bawasaba’ hitmaker who was speaking during his performance at Sogakope on Friday night, Ewes are very humble, educated and tough people and need to be proud of themselves.
‘’Be proud of yourself as an Ewe. We are respectful, we are humble, we respect the elderly. We are very tough people and we are educated too. When you check history, you’d realise that Ewes are very big people and always projecting the nation. Even the national anthem was written by an Ewe. So those who don’t want to respect, just forget them.’’ He said in his native Ewe.
Stonebwoy performed to a massive crowd at the forecourt of the Tent Of Judah in Sogakope where the Easter festivities in the area was initiated with a live concert featuring the BET award-winner and his Godson, Kelvyn Boy. The event which officially began around 10PM ended at abou 3:40 AM on Saturday.
