He is known for his strange style of dressing and unequaled lyrical dexterity. For the first time in a while, Emmanuel Owusu-Bonsu, Known popularly in Showbiz as Wanlove the Kubolor, wore a suit and a pair of shoes.

This comes out of the blues for an artist  who for many years has put on wrappers and walks bare-footed.

Wanlov took patrons by surprise when he played the role of Mr. Engelmeyer in the play ‘The Seamstress of St. Francis Street’ over the weekend. In the play he wore suit and shoes and it generated a lot of buzz on social media when he uploaded the image on his social media handles.

The Seamstress of St. Francis Street is a stage play about 2 women who were raped by their uncle.
In the play which took place over the weekend at Terra Alta in Accra, Wanlov is an African American rep from Spanish fashion house, Balenciaga who tries to hoodwink local talents through unscrupulous means.
