Charterhouse Ghana, the organizers of the annual Ghana Music Awards has challenged Patapaa to produce evidence backing his claims of corruption against the brand or come out openly to render an apology.
In an interview with celebrity blogger, Zionfelix, the Public Relations Officer of Chatterhouse, Mr, George Quaye had this to say:
“If Patapaa has an evidence of us taking money from any nominee, he should release else he should apologise to the board, academy and the general public for that comment,”
“We will release the votes very soon so that we all see how everybody performed on the night. It is a very unfortunate statement from him.”
It could be recalled that during an interview with JOY NEWS on the night of the VGMAs, the ‘One Corner’ crooner claimed that he lost because the organizers took “stupid money” to hand the award to Fancy Gadam.
A visibly angry Patapaa also said patrons at the event venue even showed their displeasure when Fancy Gadam was named as the winner of the category.
Meanwhile, Charter House has released the full list of voting results for the 19th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards… Click here to see the full list.
