Ghanaian female vocalist and songwriter, Jane Awindor popularly known as Efya has announced that she is worth GHC 95,000 for each show.
The ‘forgetting me’ hitmaker made the declaration during an interview with Celebrity blogger, Zionfelix on her weekly youtube program, ‘Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix’. The musician who has also featured in several movies justified the need for event organizers to pay her such huge amount to perform at events saying she mostly performs live when she mounts the stage with eight or nine-piece band and it costs so much. According to the ‘Best In Me’ crooner, it is not a joke to mount the stage with such a huge number.
Efya believes she has grown as an artiste hence she should work in an etraordinary style to set her apart from others and win for her the legendary status. The daughter of Celebrated filmmaker and TV Host, Nana Adwoa Awindor further stated that she wants to release songs which can last for decades so that generations will listen to it and still feel it is a new song.
