Canadian Pop-star, Justin Bieber would reportedly be missing in action at the 60th edition of the annual Grammy Awards.
Justin, aged 23 according to reports is working on a new album and he is committing all his time and energy to the album hence his inability to show up at the January 28 event at which he is scheduled to perform his hit ‘Despacito’ song alongside Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee.
Despite having won the slots in the nominees list with his ”Despacito” hit in the categories of Bes Pop Duo/ Group Performance, Song of the Year and Record of the year, the Biebs would officially not be present at the event.
The new album of which little information is known is a quick followup to Bieber’s fourth studio album christened ‘Purpose’ which was debuted in 2015.
It is however not new for Bieber to completely put up a no-show at an event of the kind since he absented himself from the previous edition of the Award for which he had four nominations.
The ‘Sorry’ hitmaker is also not just willing to sacrifice this year’s Grammy awards for this new album but is also not willing to go out publicly for any show unless he is done with this new project and that explains how good an album we should expect from the youngster.
The 2018 edition of the world’s most prestigious music awards come off on Sunday, 28th January, 2018 at Madison Square Garden, New York City from 7:30 PM and would be hosted by British Comic actor and TV host, James Corden.
