Ernest Opoku And Cecilia Marfo Planned To Destroy Me – Gospel Musician Alleges

Ghanaian gospel musician, Brother Sammy has alleged that renowned singer and prophetess, Cecilia Marfo had teamed up with Ernest Opoku to destroy him.

According to the singer, he first decided to be mute on the issue but God has now touched himto address the matter.

It could be recalled that in November 2017, it was reported that Cecilia Marfo subjected Brother Sammy to a hefty slap during a powerful deliverance session at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.

In the video which went viral on social media, the renowned prophetess was seen removing quite a number of fashionable necklaces from the neck of Brother Sammy. She was captured warning him of some ungodly acts into which he was involved.

However, the singer in an interview recently with a US-based Ghanaian community radio revealed that, he suspects that his deliverance session with Cecilia Marfo was staged to disgrace him. Brother Sammy insisted that, Cecilia Marfo and another gospel artiste, Ernest Opoku planned the whole embarrassing deliverance session to tarnish his image and bring his brand into disrepute, since he is a big threat to them in the gospel industry. “I didn’t want to talk about this issue but I’m glad God has now given me the chance to clear the air. In this world people are envious of the one who’s always seen going higher. Cecilia Marfo invited me to her show to perform but I got to realized that it was a planned thing to disgrace me," he said.

The worship singer stressed that, if Cecilia Marfo had a clean intention she would have addressed him in a more decent manner during the deliverance. “Cecilia Marfo called me in front of the audience to slap me and tear my chain but because I respected God so much I didn’t retaliate. Even if it is true that you’ve seen something about me, is that the best way to say it? So if Otabil sees something about Duncan Williams, will Otabil slap Duncan Williams as a form of deliverance"? Brother Sammy lamented.

The singer also accused that, “Because she is a worshiper and I’m also a worshiper, she is trying all means to bring me down. After disgracing me in front of the audience, she took to the stage to dance with Ernest Opoku as a way to mock me.”

Shatta Wale Apologizes To The Media

Shatta Wale has apologised to the media for invoking God's wrath against all those who criticised the late dancehall artiste Ebony when she was alive.

The controversial musician, born Charles Nii Amarh Mensah, accused the media of blatantly discrediting the artiste on their various platforms.

He did not spare media practitioners in his emotionally packed tribute at the one-week celebration of the late singer at St Martin de Porres School in Dansoman on Sunday.

Speaking to Hitz FM’s Prince Tsegah on Showbiz Fylla, Shatta Wale stated that he was taken over by emotions hence his comments.

Nevertheless, he apologised saying, “…because of people like you [Prince Tsegah] I will apologise. I will also apologise to some of them who felt hurt by what I said…”

However, Shatta Wale urged critics to criticise constructively devoid of hurting the feelings of other people.

He used Ebony as an example stating that critics bashed her on a daily basis just because of a brand she chose for herself.

“…Some people always bashed Ebony and even made fun out of it. You can criticise but don’t make fun out of it. Don’t criticise us too much…,” he noted.

My Son Is Beyond Death – Shatta Wale’s Father Claims

Mr. Armah Mensah known popularly as Shatta Capo, who is believed to be the father of Ghana's dancehall force, Shatta Wale has revealed that his son is 'undieable'.

The Dancehall musician's father who was responding to prophecies by some prophets, suggesting that his son would die soon, said that the God he serves would not that such doom prophecies come to pass.

According to the angered father who was speaking in an interview on Hitz FM's Showbiz Fylla, the action of the prophets who prophesied the death of his son is not acceptable. "If you find something about my son, why don't you look for my number and call me to arrange a meeting so we can talk about it?", he quizzed.

For him, such actions constituted a threat on his son's life and as the head of the family he had started processes to get the people to answer to the law. "I'm a law abiding citizen and I've written to the CID director on behalf of Shatta and the whole family to invite the prophets to answer", he hinted.

When called in to the show to speak, Shatta Wale stated that he had no intentions of apologizing to anyone over his threats. He explained that his threats were targeted at the individual prophets involved and their churches.

It could be recalled that in the past few weeks, Shatta Wale has been in the news following his threat to burn down some churches if he does not die by December this year as speculated by some prophets. The prophecies which came following the demise of Dancehall Diva, Ebony reigns has received different emotions from the public with many saying it was bad news considering that the country was still in the mood of mourning.

However, when Shatta wale made his threats known via a social media post, many people chastised him for such comments with some reports suggesting that police were making plans to arrest him for his threats.
