The dismissed employees of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) will likely be reinstated, 3news.com has gathered.
High-placed sources confirmed on Thursday that the employees together with native President of the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) Dr Frimpong Kaakyire Duku will return to submit.
The sacking, suspension and demotion of about 30 employees by the Governing Council triggered a spate of protests from the coed physique.
Chaos throughout protests on Thursday led to the indefinite closure of the college by the Central Regional Security Council.
The protesting college students in demanding the reinstatement of the sacked lecturers referred to as for the top of the Vice Chancellor, Reverend Professor Anthony Afful-Broni.
