In a tweet by Shatta Wale which seems to mock Sarkodie over his inability to extend Strongman’s contract, the dancehall artist cited that Sarkodie is financially not sound thus his failure to sign the rapper for another year.

According to him, artists who are capable of supporting artists are those who have the financial muscles to do so without any stress.

He described the nurturing of signees as an investment an artist makes with the money he has garnered from the expression of his craft positing that if an artist is therefore unable to financially support a signee to gain mainstream presence, then the artiste or the CEO of the record label is virtually broke.
